My life changed dramatically the day I first met Attack of the clones. It was the first day of the movie, May 16, 2002, and I had been awake for a long time. The day before, May 15th, I was out for more than 12 hours Ziegfeld Theater, New York City Waiting for the midnight screening of the latest star wars Movie. After that, I go to bed, wake up, and graduate from college. “Today is the day we’ve been waiting for,” one speaker said at the commencement ceremony. “today, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones It’s finally showing. “Everyone laughed, and that quote is etched in my memory.

Graduating from college is obviously a life-changing event, but Attack of the clones had a profound impact on me A long time ago and after, the movie finally came out. Prelude to its predecessor, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, is how I found websites that cover movies. Countingdown.com, Rebelscum, TheForce.net and many more surf sites, not only I fix every day star wars Gossip, I unknowingly opened the door to what my life would end up being like, writing for the site you’re reading right now.

But that’s as an observer.during preparation Episode 2, I am a participant. While balancing part-time work and full-time school, I started working on some of these sites, especially Countingdown.com. While I’ve written reviews for my high school newspaper and am writing a film for college, this is the first time I’ve done it “professional”. I really like it.I will write about star wars Was doing some of my first press conferences all over the place, and when the commencement and speakers made a joke about the film, I knew what to do next.by the time Episode 3 Posted, I want to write a comment somewhere. Three years later, I made it happen at a mid-level newspaper in southern New York.

Oh forbidden love.

but Attack of the clones is the key. The movie came out at just the right time to get everything moving.wow, the memories of seeing Attack of the clones very powerful. For me, stronger than either of the other two prequels. First, as I said, I waited on the sidewalk all day, waiting for the midnight screening of the film at Manhattan’s legendary Ziegfeld Theater. If this is a wake-up call, it’s because it’s Triumph the Insult Comic Dog legend star wars Conan O’Brien’s Nerd Sketch, I’m Really (I wrote about a fact extensively in another article, you can read it at this link.)

The waiting was special but the screening was even better. As you can imagine, over a thousand rabid Star Wars fans sitting in the same room, ready to see the next chapter in the saga, was electric. The moment when the Jedi stormed the Geonosian arena, every single person jumped out of their seats. Minutes later, when Yoda ignited his lightsaber, it felt like the entire room shook. I left that theater on such a high that, despite having to be up at 8 a.m. for graduation, I seriously contemplated seeing the film again at 3:30 a.m.

However, in the years that followed, Attack of the clones lost some luster. The memory of waiting for it and watching it greatly outweighs the movie itself. Oh sure, there are some great characters, great action beats and a dynamite ending, but for the most part, the story is intricate, the acting is dull, and the pacing sucks. Some of the dialogue, especially between Anakin and Padmé, is cringe-worthy.For my money this is the worst star wars Movies so far (albeit from 2019 Rise of Skywalker Currently running for its money).

come on. when.

Even so, this 20-year-old film still means the world to me. Not because of the movie itself, but because of what it represents in my life.Professionally, my excitement and anticipation Attack of the clones Set me a career path that I have always followed. Personally, it’s even more confusing. My first kiss to the woman who ended up being my wife, love theme Attack of the clones, “Across the Stars” by John Williams, shuffled on the radio (an old XM station called CineMagic, in case you were wondering). When we kissed, I thought, “Wow, if we end up getting married, this would be a great story.” When we got married 12 years later, after we announced as husband and wife, we played “Through the Stars.”

Never forget that cinema is art and art means different things to different people. Attack of the clones It’s not a great movie, but it holds a big place in my heart. It is a prism through which I can see my past, present and future. This is part of me. Padmé for my Anakin.
