Gators advance to NCAA Tournament Super Regionals

Gainesville, Fla. – The 14th-seeded Florida softball program crowned the NCAA Gainesville Regional with an 11-0 victory over Wisconsin Sunday afternoon at Katie Seashole Pressley Stadium. UF advances to its ninth straight and 14^th A victory for the entire NCAA Superregion in program history.

The Gators (47-16) wasted no time preparing for another NCAA superregional berth as the team hit 10 points in the first inning against the Badgers (30-22). The number of runs in the initial frame of action in a single inning of an NCAA regional game was the most the program has ever seen.
