When Donna D’Errico was told she was “too old” wear a bikiniclapped her hands joining OnlyFans.
Recently, the “Baywatch” star announced that she had joined the subscribers-only media site. Former co-star Carmen Electra is already on the platform. The site allows creators to share and monetize their content, which can be explicit. Some stars who have signed on to control their image and interact with fans include Bella Thorne, Shanna Moakler, Cardi B, and Charlie Sheen’s daughter Sami Sheen, among others.
On July 4, the star took to Instagram and posted a celebratory video of herself modeling a red, white, and blue bikini. While the 54-year-old received praise from numerous followers, many others criticized her, insisting that she was “hopeless” and that she had the best of time due to her age. The actress responded to critics by sharing a snap of herself in a pink bikini as she squatted on a coffee table. But still, D’Errico wanted to address the “hateful comments” she was getting her way.

“After the second photo went viral.“I also got a lot of backlash for that, but I also got a lot of support from people who not only enjoyed what I had to say, but also enjoyed seeing me in a bikini,” she explained. “And I guess” I’m tired of judging, bullying and all the hate. It would be nice to publish some things and that doesn’t happen. And the truth is, regular social media just isn’t for me. There is a lot of judgment and hate there. I know you can’t do much with it, because it’s always going to be there. You’ve got all these keyboard warriors who feel very powerful taunting each other, taking them down while they’re hiding behind a computer.”
“A lot has happened to me throughout my career, since I became a public figure,” D’Errico shared. “And while it doesn’t really bother me, for the most part, I’d still like to put things out without those repercussions. So I finally said, ‘Fuck that.'”
OnlyFans, which was founded in 2016, became popular during the first months of the coronavirus pandemic when numerous sex workers banded together to get paid more securely. The site has been tremendously lucrative for some people, allowing them to earn thousands every month.
Donna D’Errico said that she wanted to escape the censorship and harassment found on other social media platforms.

In August of last year, OnlyFans announced that it had 130 million users and 2 million creators who had collectively earned $5 billion. That same month, the site said it suspended its initial plan to ban sexually explicit content after protests from its creators and sex worker advocates.
D’Errico said he’s just “having fun” on the platform where he can post photos and videos of his choice without judgment or “hateful” comments. He also gives her a chance to connect with fans.

“I’m a single person,” he explained. “I don’t have a guy to wear sexy lingerie for. I live alone and I can’t sit at home alone in sexy lingerie. I can’t really go out and buy sexy lingerie because who am I going to buy?” to use it? When you are dating someone, you like to send these types of photos to your partner. “I realize what happens on that site, I’m not stupid,” she continued. “I know you can find really explicit stuff there. But not everyone is doing that. There are athletes, fitness people, chefs, you name it, they’re on the platform as well. Just because you’re on the site, it doesn’t automatically mean that you’re doing porn. I think that’s the stigma associated with [OnlyFans], which I think needs to start to soften up a bit. There are different reasons why someone would join OnlyFans. And for me, I just wanted to get away from the trolls, the hate, the control. He wanted to publish what he wanted without being judged. I have always said that I can do whatever I want and that is exactly what I am doing. I’m having fun now.”
Donna D’Errico is choosing to applaud trolls in her own way.

While D’Errico’s page is free to subscribers, she insisted “money is pouring in” as the site allows her to accept paid tips or private messages. Not only does she handle her account “herself,” but D’Errico said she answers all messages personally, while some creators may hire “chatters” to handle correspondence from her. Subscribers can expect never-before-seen lingerie shots, magazine editorial outtakes, behind-the-scenes photos and videos, as well as plenty of bikini content.
“I’m making money instead of showing it for free on Instagram,” he chuckled. “That video you see of me dancing in a bikini? I do the exact same thing on OnlyFans, and I’m making tens of thousands of dollars on it. It’s a win-win for me. That’s not why I joined, but me “I’m just laughing at the whole double standard. It all started because I just wanted to give OnlyFans a try after everything that’s been happening on Instagram.”

“For me, this is just about having fun, I’m still a very busy full-time actress,” D’Errico said. “If this ever gets to be too much and a form of stress, I’ll just close my account. But right now, I’m just winging it. It’s not my new line of work. It started out as a bit of a joke, but it turned into a big deal.” … I just wanted people to realize that I can do and say whatever I want. And it’s silly to make fun of me in a bikini because I’m not hurting anyone. To make fun of someone wearing a swimsuit, a piece of clothing It’s ridiculous. We shouldn’t be praising celebrities for wearing what they want on one platform and then avoiding them on another. It’s silly. And I’m tired of trolling.”
After ‘Baywatch,’ Donna D’Errico has appeared in various TV shows and movies.

Between pursuing acting and his latest endeavor, some fans have wondered if D’Errico will ever don a red swimsuit again. for a “Baywatch” reboot. D’Errico said it won’t happen any time soon.
“I think I would probably say no,” he explained. “I don’t think I would do a ‘Baywatch’ reboot. That was a part of my life that I really enjoyed. But I’ve been through it and been through that phase. It was lovely at the time, but I’ve moved on. Let’s leave the lovely memory behind.” .
