The “invitation-only” survey sent to Disney+ customers used a fan poster of the Fantastic Four featuring John Krasinski as Reed Richards and Emily Blunt as Sue Storm.

A new Disney+ poll uses Fantastic Four Fan art featuring John Krasinksi as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and Emily Blunt as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman. Following Disney’s acquisition of Fox in 2019, Deadpool, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four all fell under the control of Marvel Studios. Long before Kevin Feige & Co. even announced that the Marvel Cinematic Universe would implement the characters, fans had real-life couple Krasinski and Blunt on their wish list to lead Marvel’s First Family.
MCU Phase 4 has been working on developing the concept of a multiverse, where all possible quantum measurements are realized in a universe. Spider-Man: Nowhere to Go Bringing together three generations of cyber rangers, and a recent outing by Marvel Studios, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, featuring some surprising cameos.In this film, Doctor Strange is brought before the Illuminati at Earth-838, including Karmodo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell), Maria Rambo/Captain Marvel (Lashana Lynch), Black Bolt ( Anson Mount), Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Reed Richards/Mr. Awesome (Krasinski). The latter surprise is undoubtedly the result of the aforementioned fan casting, and will only intensify the desire to see Krasinski and Blunt play Richards and Storm on Earth-616.

An outside research firm surveyed Disney+ customers about the upcoming project using John Krasinski and Emily Blunt to star in the Fantastic Four. Reed even shaved his head and wore a slim-fitting suit with gray hair on his sideburns.

It’s worth noting that Letcher’s poster was originally published online in November 2019, closer to MCU Fantastic Four Movie Announced long before Krasinski’s announcement Doctor Strange 2 cameo. While the above tweet speculates that Mr. Fantastic’s change in appearance may have hinted at his Earth-616 appearance, it’s likely that those who took part in the survey were just casually using the imagery they felt best reflected the project, official or otherwise. To clarify, it’s clear that the poll came from outside Disney and didn’t convey any clear casting message.
Unfortunately, director Jon Watts has left Marvel Studios Fantastic Four earlier this year. It’s unclear if this delayed the project, while production and casting details are still being kept under wraps.On top of that, Blunt has admitted in the past that she doesn’t really like superhero movies — which may suggest Krasinski Doctor Strange 2 cameo Just a fun way to reassure the audience and, frankly, keep them talking. However, things like the Disney+ customer survey should continue to keep Krasinski and Blunt on everyone’s tongue when it comes to Marvel’s First Family.
