Source: Howie Rothman has almost complete control over Hawks decisions. He was fine. – inquirer
Sixteen months ago, I wrote this about Hawks general manager Howie Rothman: “…let King Howie rule. Give him a free and terrible hand. Reduce his” Consultants”. Give Howie the scouting information, let the coaches have their say, then sit back and put Rothman in charge.” That’s exactly what happened, according to two NFL sources. Early returns seem good. Rothman, usually the least popular figure in Philly sports, is experiencing an unprecedented wave of support despite a massive upheaval on his staff. […] If you like the work he’s doing, give him full credit because today, according to sources, he’s less influenced by others than ever before. That includes his boss, owner Jeffrey Lurie. Since the Hawks fired Doug Pederson and hired Nick Sirianni in January 2021, Lurie has stepped back, shut up and let Roseman play free. Rothman has run away.

Better Lineup: Eagles or Cowboys, Defensive Edition – PhillyVoice
Overall: As mentioned above, Parsons is the best defensive player in the division, and Diggs provides a ton of additional possessions for the Cowboys’ offense in 2021. It’s a good start for Dallas’ defense. But on paper, the Cowboys have a small advantage over the Hawks in charge, linebacker and safety, and the Hawks have a more extreme advantage over Dallas, especially inside the defense. Dallas has more star power, but Philadelphia has a more complete defense with fewer obvious holes. Edge: Eagles.

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout to Dallas Cowboys LB Mika Parsons: ‘Easy my bird!’ – Blog Boys
We’re certainly talking about Angels outfielder Mike Trout, who may just be the best player in baseball. This is obviously a different debate for another day. What you may or may not know about Trout is that he is a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Interestingly, since they traded with Dallas during the 2021 NFL draft and paid the Cowboys a third-round pick, but ended up picking Micah at No. 12, it was the Hawks’ fault, Micah Parsons is a cowboy. After the Rangers/Angels game, Trout gave Parsons a signed bat with a message: “Relax my bird!”
