Newlyweds Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were the picture of domestic bliss as the rocker showed off his serene Calabasas home ahead of their intimate wedding this week.
Barker, 46, gave fans a behind-the-scenes look inside his luxurious mansion while striking a pose with Kardashian, 43, in his kitchen for the May issue of Architectural Digest. The couple, who legally wed on May 15, sweetly wore matching pajamas for the shoot.
Described as ‘minimal’ and ‘zen’ in the accompanying video tour, the one-floor 10,000-square-foot home in Southern California is filled to the brim with lavish items like two Bogarde x Dior BMX bikes that cost $25,000 apiece, an organic mattress, and an $18,000 cement ping pong table.

The Blink-182 drummer purchased the luxurious estate 15 years ago, but he had it completely remodeled in 2019 by interior designer Waldo Fernandez, who was suggested to him by his now-mother-in-law, Kris Jenner
‘My house really is just zen. When I come home from long tours or long nights at the studio, [it’s] just a place to rest my head,’ Barker said

The dad has fond memories of raising his three children, Atiana De La Hoya, 23, Landon Barker, 18, and Alabama Barker, 16, in the home, which he sometimes shares with Kardashian and her kids. The reality star, who is mom to Mason Disick, 12, Penelope Disick, nine, and Reign Disick, seven, still has her own house – which is a block away.
Barker’s property has an at-home studio – where he said he recorded most of his latest album – a massive movie theater, a glamorous bar area, and multiple closets just for him.
However, it wasn’t always his dream home. After living there for more than a decade, he decided three years ago that it was time for a change.
‘When I bought it, the way it was designed wasn’t my favorite, but my kids learned how to ride bikes in this house. They skateboarded through this long hallway … I think they even rode, like, 50s, like dirt bikes in the house at one point. So, we really lived in it and we really got the most out of what I had bought,’ he told the magazine.
Barker’s living room features a custom sofa, lounge chairs by Waldo’s Designs, a Liaigre side table, a Mansour carpet, and stools in the style of Pierre Chareau

‘We really lived in it and we really got the most out of what I had bought. And then there was a time when I was touring so much and I felt like it was the perfect opportunity to do the remodel.’
After getting in contact with Fernandez, he said he felt an instant connection with him.
‘I loved the simplicity and zen quality of his work. We connected immediately,’ he recalled.
‘The minute I spoke to him on the phone, his energy was just the best energy I’ve experienced.
‘He had such great ideas and this calming spirit about him and impeccable taste. I just decided to remodel my entire home instead of a couple of rooms.’
The Blink-182 drummer said he left for tour and ‘gave him full control’ of the renovations.
Barker said he liked to ‘turn on the fireplace and chill’ when he is hanging out in the living room

When Fernandez was renovating the house, he knocked out the windows and added glass doors that open to his backyard
He didn’t return until everything was complete one year later, and he insisted it was worth the wait.
‘It was the most amazing experience to come back a year later,’ he gushed. ‘[Fernandez] said, “You need to stop coming by, you need to stop always checking on it, because I want you to come a few days before you move in and see it and be in awe.”
‘And that’s what I did and it was the best payoff. I was floored, like jaw to the ground. To have the ability to reimagine a home and do what he did was just, he does a phenomenal job.’
Fernandez added: ‘Travis wasn’t looking for a major statement or any kind of caricatured rock-star style. He wanted a home that would allow him to think and be at peace with himself.’
Barker explained that he likes a ‘very clean space’ so it can allow him to ‘think’ and not ‘crowd his vibe.’
‘With three children of my own, plus Kourtney’s kids, this place felt right for this moment in my life,’ he said.

Barker said he and his family sit down in the formal dining room every Sunday and talk. He noted that it was important to have a large table that fit everyone, including guests

‘I wanted a house where I can rest and enjoy my family, a place where we can create memories
‘My house really is just zen. When I come home from long tours or long nights at the studio, [it’s] just a place to rest my head.
In his living room, where he said he takes a lot of ‘phone calls’ and does many ‘photoshoots,’ the walls are lined with artwork by Raymond Pettibon and Wes Lang.
Above the fireplace sits an extra special painting – one that was gifted to him by his new wife.
‘There’s a painting over here that is my five favorite albums that changed my life,’ he revealed. ‘Kourtney got me it for Christmas last year.’
In the formal dining room – where the family tries to sit down for dinner every Sunday – there are more gifts from Kardashian.
Kardashian was sipping on a cup of matcha that Barker made her when he entered the black and white kitchen. The two were engaged when the home tour was filmed, but they officially tied the knot on May 15

‘Kourtney got me these way before we were together,’ he shared. ‘We’d spoil each other and buy each other Christmas presents and birthday presents.’
In the center of the room sits a custom 10-person Pierre Jeanneret dining table that hosts a slew of family dinners.
Barker said: ‘With how much I work and how much Kourtney works, and with my kids and school and everything, we like to sit down on Sundays, just talk, put our phones away, and eat delicious vegan food.
‘We do like to entertain, we have friends and guests over for a dinner but I also don’t like too many people in my home because it’s where I go to get peace of mind and relax and I’m never here, so when I am here I want to make it count.’
The spacious kitchen has more than 20 cabinets for optimal storage, and the massive fridge and freezer are designed to look like cabinets themselves.

There is a smaller table in the kitchen where he and his family eat or have tea on normal days
There’s a large island in the center of the room, as well as multiple Wolf ovens and an eight-burner stove.
‘My aesthetic is just minimal, I don’t like when people put a bunch of things everywhere,’ explained Barker, while describing the black-and-white kitchen.
Alvar Aalto pendant lights hang from the ceiling, and a black, wooden post cuts through the room.
On the counter sits a matcha station – filled with spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and cacao – which he described as ‘one of his favorite things.’

A second table sits in the corner of the room, which is where the family often has their tea and where the kids usually do their homework.
Across from the kitchen is the TV room, where Barker and his family spend holidays playing games and doing puzzles in front of the fireplace
‘I’ve written songs on this couch,’ he said. ‘I’m constantly walking around with my phone and I have voice memo on and I’m recording, and my kids are like, “What are you doing?” and I’m like, tapping an idea or a rhythm.’
Barker’s one-story home also boasts an entertainment room featuring an all-cement James De Wulf ping pong table, which costs more than $18,000
‘When I fell in love with ping pong, I googled ping pong tables and this came up,’ he said. ‘I was like, “I have to have this”‘
The TV room is where Barker and his brood spend most of their holidays. Most recently, he said they rang in the New Year in the room – playing games and working on a puzzle together.
‘We spend holidays here, we actually spent New Year’s Eve here, it was fun we just played games and put together a 1,500-piece puzzle which took days to finish but it was a lot of fun,’ he recalled.
‘This room used to have vaulted ceilings, it used to look way different. They got rid of all the recess lighting and they flattened everything out in here.
‘That made everything clean lines, very minimal, and easy to live in. We brought the ceilings up in every room, as high as we could.’
Barker said he ‘really loves’ the big, comfy chairs in the room, as well as the couches, which is where he has written some of his biggest hits.
Barker has two Bogarde x Dior BMX bikes on display that cost $25,000 apiece. The white one was a gift from Kardashian’s sister Kendall Jenner, and he snagged the gold one after Lebron James failed to pick it up

Barker had a home recording studio built when he was in quarantine
‘Once in a while, I’ll take off all the pillows off this and lay down,’ he said of the piece of furniture.
‘I’ve written songs on this couch. I’m constantly walking around with my phone and I have voice memo on and I’m recording, and my kids are like, “What are you doing?” and I’m like, tapping an idea or a rhythm.’
Located in what he calls the entertainment room is the all-cement James De Wulf ping pong table, which costs more than $18,000.
Barker said: ‘When I fell in love with ping pong, I googled ping pong tables and this came up. I was like, “I have to have this.”
‘It’s really heavy, a team of eight people came in and installed it. There was a point during quarantine where we would play every day and have the coolest ping pong tournaments.
Barker has a home theater that he had tuned professional so it sounds like a movie theater. He watches movies and UFC fights here
‘I play with my kids, I play with Kourt. I play with guests when they come over.’
Elsewhere in the room is a lamp he designed with Buster and Punch – which has a little skull on it – art books, and a few of his coveted BMX bikes.
‘I’m a big collector of BMX bikes. Most of my BMX bikes are at my studio because I have about 25 of them, but these two are Dior,’ he explained of the two on display in the room.
‘Kendall, Kourtney’s sister actually gave me this one. It was sitting at her mom’s house, and I was like, “Do you know what this is? This is so special and so cool. I’ll fix it.”‘
As for the second bike, which was gold, he explained that after searching for it for a long time, Dior reached out and offered it to him after basketball star LeBron James turned it down.
Barker’s bedroom features a large television and a fireplace that he likes to turn on and pretend he is in a cabin somewhere
He has framed photos throughout the room, including pictures of his children and the day he and Kardashian got engaged

‘I had been searching for the gold one and my assistant got a call from Dior and they were like, “Is Trav still looking for the gold Dior bike? LeBron never came and picked his up, so if you guys want it, it’s yours today,”‘ he shared.
‘We grabbed it, we snatched it immediately.’
The house is also home to a bar area, which contains personalized champagne flutes that were gifted to the couple after they got engaged. They say, ‘Travis and Kourtney. October 17, 2021. #Forever’ on them.
‘That’s the first day we ever hooked up or hung out as more than friends and that’s also the day I proposed to her,’ he explained.
In the at-home movie theater – which has around 100 speakers built into the walls – Barker said there has been numerous ‘dance parties,’ as well as many intimate date nights between him and Kardashian.
Barker has multiple walk-in closets throughout the house that he uses just for himself
One of his closets is filled with mainly T-shirts, including his collection of vintage tees
‘I like to watch UFC fights in here and movies obviously. There’s also dance parties, massive amounts of people in this room at times, depending on what we’re watching,’ he said.
‘It also has 100 speakers in this room, I got it tuned professionally so it sounds like a movie theater, like when you go to the movie and you have all these things happening around you.
‘If we’re just having a night and it’s the weekend and we don’t have the kids we usually just fall asleep in here.
‘These couches are so comfortable it’s like a huge bed once you take all the pillows off.’
As for the couple’s bedroom, it’s filled with personal touches like a plate that Kardashian painted at Color Me Mine, Barker’s mom’s rosary, and a candle made by Goop and Heretic called ‘This Smells Like Kourtney’s Orgasm.’
There’s also a framed photo of the day he proposed to Kardashian, a snap of him and his kids, and a portrait of him that was drawn by Penelope on his bedside.
Barker’s home also has an indoor-outdoor area where he likes to spend one-on-one time with his dogs
There is a table outside overlooking the pool, the only thing that wasn’t touched during the remodeling
‘All my kids learned how to swim in this pool. We’ve spent every summer in here since we moved into this house,’ the rockstar said. ‘We have the best memories here’
On his bed is an organic mattress, since he said ‘mattresses can be toxic and have all sorts of bad things that everyone sleeps on and they don’t know about it.’
‘It has the ability to lift the head and lift the foot of the bed. It also vibrates,’ he gushed.
He has numerous closets – including one just for his shoes and another for his t-shirts.
‘I love vintage t-shirts, it’s kind of like the same passion I have for skateboarding and BMX bikes, it reminds me of my childhood,’ he revealed.

The garage is home to his extravagant car collection, which includes a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon 4×4 Squared
Barker’s black Buick Grand National GNX was a gift from Kardashian and only has 600 miles on it. He called it the ‘best birthday present ever’
He explained that the backyard – which has a full stage with lighting and a sound system – was home to many ‘out of control’ parties.
There’s also a luxurious indoor-outdoor living area, complete with multiple couches, a table, a fireplace, and a BBQ.
The garage is home to his extravagant car collection, which includes a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon 4×4 Squared, a Cadillac Escalade, a Rolls Royce, and a Buick Grand National GNX that only has 600 miles on it – all of which are black.
‘It’s one of the most sought after cars, Kourt got it for me for my birthday, it was the best birthday present ever,’ he said of the Buick.
‘I usually drive all my old cars but this one, I have to baby it and only drive it during special occasions.’
He described the Escalade as a ‘must for his fleet’ because it’s ‘perfect for the kids’ and ‘perfect if you have a bunch of people with you.’
