The Golden State Warriors are one win away from the NBA Finals after beating the Dallas Mavericks 109-100 in Game 3 on Sunday night. Led by Stephen Curry’s 31 points and Andrew Wiggins’ 27, Golden State reasserted its dominance over Dallas to take a 3-0 series lead.
Luka Doncic tried to help the Mavericks win with 40 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists, but Dallas still didn’t have enough despite Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie’s combined 46 points strength to complete this victory. Back to this series.
The Warriors will try to close the series on Tuesday, and if they do, they will wait in the Eastern Conference for the winner of the Boston Celtics-Miami Heat series.
Here are three takeaways from Dallas’ Game 3.
1. Andrew Wiggins, bow
Let’s take a look at this ridiculous dunk from Wiggins on Doncic in the fourth quarter.

2. Dallas role player missed in pivotal Game 3
When the Mavericks beat the Phoenix Suns 0-2 in the Western Conference semifinals, four of their five starters scored in double figures to win Game 3. Reggie Bullock, Dorian Finney Smith and Maxi Kleber combined for 43 points in that game, giving Dallas and Doncic the momentum they needed to get back into the series.
That wasn’t the case on Sunday night. Doncic got plenty of help from his backcourt teammates Jaren Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie, who combined for 46 points while Bullock went 0-10 in 39 minutes. The score is not scored. Finney-Smith had just nine points and Kleber also finished with 0 at 0-5. When all three are shooting that badly, Dallas isn’t going to win a lot of games.
Although Dallas managed to seal the game at the buzzer, unlike the first two games of the series, they didn’t feel like they could play legitimately without the likes of Bullock, Finney-Smith and Kleber taking shots. the match of.
3. The Warriors are one win away from the Finals
The Golden State Warriors have dominated the entire series and are now just one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the sixth time in eight years.
