Soap opera star Marnie Schulenburg has died at the age of 37 after a two-year battle with cancer.
The TV star died Tuesday of stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at a hospital in Bloomfield, N.J., Kyle Luke, her representative at Industrial Entertainment, told hollywood reporter.
She is best known for her work on the popular soap operas “The World Has Changed” and “Once Upon a Time”.
On May 8, Schulenburg celebrated her final Mother’s Day with a touching Instagram post, which featured her raising daughter Coda, now 2, as her health deteriorated.
“This doesn’t guarantee I’ll be home this Mother’s Day,” she wrote in the caption. “I was released late on Friday night but had to go home with an oxygen machine.”

“It’s not my ideal to be a 38-year-old mom who needs an oxygen tank to survive,” she continued, even though she will die just days before her 38th birthday on May 21. “I want to be strong and beautiful [Coda]. I wanted to show her how to walk the world with compassion, strength, energy, humor and joy as my mother showed me.
“I know that being here for her is the best gift I can give her, but it feels like settling down now that she’s getting her own version of Half-Life,” she continued, adding that she hopes to give her daughter Just as much love and attention from her own mother for her.
While starring in “The Turn of the World,” Schulenberg was often paired with Billy Magnussen, who would later appear in Game Night and the James Bond film “No Time to Die.”
In addition to her most important roles, Schulenburg has guest appearances on popular prime-time shows including Blue Bloods, Military Wife, Royal Pain, Divorce and Militancy.
Earlier this year, she played the role of Maggie Caysen on the Showtime drama City On A Hill.
The star is survived by her actor husband Zach Robidas, best known for “The Inheritance” and “Apologize for Your Loss.” They married in 2013 and welcomed daughter Coda in 2019.

Her husband reportedly confirmed her death in a Facebook post on Wednesday. type.
“Please don’t say Marnie lost her battle with cancer,” he urged his followers. ‘This is simply not true. I’ve watched her kick cancer in the ass every day since her diagnosis.
‘She was incredible. We chose to attack her diagnosis with blind optimism. We only talk about the future and move on. I don’t know if that’s true, but it’s all we know,” he continued.
In the Mother’s Day post, Schulenburg revealed that she was diagnosed a few days before the same holiday two years ago.
“On May 8, 2020, I found out I had breast cancer, and I really thought my life was over. Two years later, I’m still here, and every month I have the opportunity to be with her better,” The star wrote.

Marnie was born and raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
She attended Barnstable High School, then transferred to DeSales University in Pennsylvania’s Center Valley, before graduating in 2006 with a degree in theatre.
Her acting career began at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.

In 2007, Marnie made her daytime television debut as Stewart as Stewart, after the character appeared on the online show Digital Daytime: LA Diaries, which also featured actress Adrienne Frantz behind the character Amber Moore.
She has since reprised the role in “A World Turning” until the soap opera was canceled in 2010, the same year she won a Daytime Emmy, and then went on to live as Sullivan.
She returned to the show in 2013 when it was made into a Hulu and iTunes series.
