Casey Hilton Receives Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from the University of the Arts

Kathy Hilton received an honorary doctorate in the humanities from the San Francisco Art University on Wednesday.

The award was presented to Hilton at the Spring 2022 Commencement Ceremony by University President Dr. Elisa Stephens, in recognition of her achievements as an arts entrepreneur.

“I am honored to receive this honorary doctorate from the prestigious University of the Arts,” said the RHOBH star. “Education is the foundation of everything we do in this life, and nowhere is this more evident than in this extraordinary institution.”

The mother of Paris and Nicky Hilton added: “The talent I see in these students makes me excited for all of our futures.

“In a digital age where content is endless, being a student and perfecting your art is a gift. Thanks to social media where these students can instantly showcase their art and designs, a new generation is in every art form Prioritize their creativity.

During the presentation, Kathy offered students her “Pearls from the Profession,” a checklist of life lessons that emphasizes the value of preparation and persistence, living with purpose, and striving for perfection, all while setting aside time for a prank By.

“Cathy is the epitome of the spirit of the artist who is able to transform their art form into a thriving career. She is an inspiration to young women around the world who want to have their voice and be respected as an artist.

“Today she delivered a wonderful commencement speech, a pearl of wisdom that I know our outstanding graduating class will find invaluable as they take their first steps into the workforce.”

The reality star went on to say: “Nowhere will they learn the tools to excel and hone their craft like an art academy university.” Thanks to Dr Elisa Stephens for this esteemed academic recognition.

She entered the event in a one-of-a-kind 1963 gold Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, originally built for Sammy Davis Jr. and now part of the Art Institute University Classic Car Museum, which preserves a rare collection of vintage cars for its automotive design and restoration programs.

Commencement, held Wednesday at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, celebrates the best and brightest young talent from a wide range of creative disciplines, including: architecture, fashion, fine arts, interior design, animation, game design and more.

Hilton later gave the commencement address to more than a thousand art college graduates, attending family members and art college faculty.
