I always wanted to be French and considered myself French in spirit. A few years ago, I found myself following a hundred French women online, all wearing these shoes. Now I wear them a lot. They are very comfortable. You can dress them up or dress them up. Cherry red looks great with jeans and a vintage tee, or a small shirt. I also often pair them with dresses – summer dresses or skirts. They just make everything you wear look neater and more interesting.
I am a very dehydrated person and this actually hydrates my skin. I started using it last summer. One of my favorite breakfasts is English muffins, so I need a good toaster. I have a red one in LA where my boyfriend lives and a white one in NYC. I use it every day. I know there are fancy toasters that can be used to make grilled cheese, but I don’t need it. I just want a functional toast, which I think is the best. It’s also good because I think the Smeg fridge is great, but I wouldn’t spend that much on a fridge. The toaster offers the quality of the Smeg lifestyle in one tiny appliance. During quarantine, when my boyfriend and I fought a lot, every time we got into a horrible fight, I said, “Okay, I’m going to get the toaster.”
It’s not a cheap lamp, but it’s not that expensive either. By your bed, it just creates a beautiful glow. I’m going to be sick – I have a purple one in NYC and a yellow one in LA My NYC palette is pastel lavender and cream, and then in LA it’s like marigold and rust and bright red. I have more colorful, fun stuff in LA I’m passionate about design – I always say I want a hotel called Chlotel, full of beautiful plush rugs, chairs with fringed bottoms, a A velvet sofa. Lots of crown moldings.
I have to carry my laptop with me and this is the perfect laptop bag. It’s super sturdy, a little cheeky, a little hilarious, and I always like to keep it in my handbag. It’s big so I use it when I have to carry a Saturday dress or a pair of heels. It can carry a surprising amount of stuff. Kule also makes the best socks ever. My boyfriend stole them.
i moved back New York near Zabalof. This is an institution. It brings me a lot of joy. I wear a Zabar hat all the time; my best friend wears his Zabar hat; people in LA wear their Zabar’s T-shirts. I have a cup. It just brings a lot of joy. I ordered Dr. Brown’s Diet Cream Soda. I’m not healthy – I love diet soda. I would get their smoked salmon bagels but usually confuse the bagel maker because I am lactose intolerant and I ask for no cream cheese. And then he’s like, “What’s wrong with you?” Just doing this swap makes the bagel taste better.
I’m wearing mine right now as we talk. They just do a good job. Plastics are really heavy – they don’t crack; they don’t stretch in heat. I love sturdy sunglasses, I just find them flattering.while shooting father of the bride, I was in Miami and went to a sunglasses store. The guy in the store said that many brand-name sunglasses are produced in the same factory, and the quality has declined. I thought he was just trying to sell me these sunglasses, but I trusted him and it worked. They are fantastic.
