The Duchess of Cambridge channelled her inner Hollywood A-lister as she joined Prince William at the Top Gun: Maverick premiere in London on Thursday night.
Kate, 40, looked radiant in a £2,700 off-the-shoulder Roland Mouret column gown, £2,300 Alexander McQueen clutch and £10,500 Robinson Pelham diamond star earrings as she made her glamorous entrance on the red carpet.
Meanwhile Prince William, 39, demonstrated his sartorial flair in a midnight blue Alexander McQueen velvet dinner jacket, tuxedo trousers and velvet slippers embroidered with miniature fighter jets in a nod to the film.
The couple joined leading man Tom Cruise and his co-stars Jennifer Connelly and Miles Teller as A-listers and British TV royalty descended on London’s Leicester Square for the glitzy gala screening.
The couple were joined by leading man Tom Cruise, who received praise from Royal fans after helping Kate on the red carpet.
The A-lister, 59, extended his hand to the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, as she navigated a set of stairs at the Top Gun: Maverick premiere in London’s Leicester Square.
Cruise was on hand to escort the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge down the red carpet and introduce them to his co-stars, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm and Miles Teller.
When he reached a small set of stairs ahead of the couple, Cruise immediately turned and offered a hand to the Duchess, who was walking next to him.
Kate, who looked stunning in a Roland Mouret column dress and black heels, reached out to take his hand for extra support.
The pair seemed to be getting on famously, with Kate flashing a megawatt smile at the actor as they chatted ahead of the premiere.

Cruise, who took part in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last weekend, introduced the royal couple to his co-stars Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm and Miles Teller.
Ahead of the premiere, Cruise, 59, said he and the Duke of Cambridge ‘have a lot in common’ as he spoke of his admiration for the royal.
‘We have a lot in common. We both love England and we’re both aviators, we both love flying,’ he said.
The actor also expressed his joy to be back on the red carpet, saying: ‘I love what I do, I’ve always enjoyed it and I’m enjoying it even more now. ‘Particularly after the last couple of years, just to have an event like this is extraordinary.’
Maverick, which has so far received rave reviews from critics, sees Hollywood star Cruise reprise the role of US naval aviator Pete Mitchell and is being released 36 years after the 1986 original.

According to reports Kate and William were honoured with their own VIP preview of the new film at a London cinema last month after Cruise heard William was a big fan of the original 1986 film.
The royals were joined by a whole host of A-listers at the event – posing in front of a real Typhoon plane jet outside the central cinema.
Among them was Carol Vorderman, 61, who got into the spirit of things by slipping into a tight fitting flight suit with a pair of aviator sunglasses hanging from her chest.

Also in attendance at the Leicester Square event – where fans waited for hours in the hope of catching a glimpse of Cruise – was Hayley Atwell.

Earlier this month, Cruise made a dramatic entrance at the US premiere of the film, landing a helicopter on an aircraft carrier in San Diego, California.
The film shown was A Matter Of Life And Death starring David Niven.
The most recent performance featured a screening of First World War epic 1917, directed by Sir Sam Mendes, and took place in 2019 at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall in attendance.
On Sunday he attended an event celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in Windsor. Last night he was in Cannes to promote the film at the annual Film Festival.
Tonight marks the 76th Royal Film Performance.
Initially called the Royal Command Film Performance, the first Royal Film Performance took place at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square in 1946 and was attended by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret.
