College football is gearing up for the 2022 football season, but the road to building the sport’s future has never been interrupted.
That’s true for Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss, who just emerged from the top 25 recruiting class and recent raid on the NCAA transfer portal. The program has undergone considerable transformation, from the coaching staff to the roster, starting with the first 10-win regular season in program history.

One of the hottest transfers on the market has sparked interest in Ole Miss right after entering the transfer portal.
James Madison’s Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey, an FCS All-American who completed 116 tackles in 2021, including nine conceded tackles and 2.5 sacks, will travel to UCF and Dirk this weekend SAS. Ole Miss could also eventually have him on campus before making a decision.
“I’m a great teammate, I’m a natural leader,” he told orange blood. “No matter which school I go to, I immediately join and become a contributor. I bring a lot of energy and lead by example.”
Tucker-Dorsey, who has one year left of college eligibility, has announced transfer offers from Texas A&M, Auburn, Miss Ole, UCF and Texas since announcing his intention to enter the transfer portal on May 17 .
The standout linebacker wants to make a decision relatively quickly.

One of the top players remaining in the transfer portal has a decision date.
Monday night, UCF wide receiver Jaylen Robinson Tell SI All-American He will visit again (Miami) and then prepare to make a verbal commitment on May 18 in Ole Miss, Tennessee, between TCU and the Hurricane.
Robinson’s trip to Coral Gables will take place on Wednesday and run through Thursday, about a week before the decision is announced.
Ole Miss got Robinson’s first official visit, and he enjoyed the time he spent with Lane Kiffin, including the semi-popular Rolls-Royce tour around the city.
“Coach Kiffin is Ryan Kiffin, you know,” Robinson says The Ole Miss program caught his attention early on. “So he’s a goat in his job as an offensive coordinator; he puts the players in a position where they can play, and the things he does design and move people around fit my style of play. Leah Moore did, so I wanted to give him the opportunity to recruit me as well.”

The latest transfer portal target has set a date for a visit to Ole Miss.
Chaton Mobley, a running back in middle Tennessee, who is a graduate transfer candidate for linebacker if he picks Ole Miss, will be on campus next week. He told us that Mobley, who was initially looking forward to the weekend, will now see the prospect of Oxford for the first time on Thursday, April 14. grove report.
The rebels will practice that day, too, in advance Grove Bowl later this month.
A four-year special-team starter with a total of seven tackles and one field goal in college, Mobley did play linebacker at Fulton High School in Knoxville (Tennessee). A multi-year starter, he completed 183 tackles and 10.5 sacks in defensive prep, including the team’s state championship game in 2014.

Another running back transfer to Ole Miss?
Earlier this year, Lane Kiffin made the biggest national stir. Zach Evans, but staff may not be able to please supporters with the FBS experience. Former middle Tennessee running back Chatton Mobley announced his bid for the Miss Ole Miss race Monday afternoon, with a planned visit in early April.
In the announcement, however, Graduate Transfer noted that the opportunity to become Rebel came from changing positions — linebacker.
Mobley has four years of experience and has played at least eight games a year since 2018, but has one more year to qualify because of the pandemic. During his MTSU career, he had 308 catches for 1,428 yards, 13 touchdowns, 39 catches for 341 yards and three points.

Oxford High (Mississippi) alum Jack Abraham has had a rocky road in his college career, but the Gateway quarterback was in Oxford last week, sources have confirmed. Grove report.
Abraham initially committed to Tulane in high school before retiring and signing with Louisiana Tech. An injury derailed his career with the Bulldogs, and the Mississippian found his way to Miss Southern in the 2018-2020 season. After a stint with the Golden Eagles, Abraham moved to Mississippi and is now looking again for a new home, possibly a deep work in his native Oxford.
Abraham was a successful high school signal caller throughout his career, but his college work came during his time at Hattiesburg. In his final season at USM, Abraham threw 7 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
