The e-commerce giant said the nomination category reflects key growth pillars for small businesses such as digitalisation, entrepreneurial support, innovation, skills and job creation, as well as exports that support India’s self-reliance.

The competitions kicked off in March 2022, with thousands of entrants showcasing entrepreneurial ideas and innovative solutions.Amazon nominated for 2,000 Startup Challenges, shortlisted 250 startups They were invited to participate in a carefully curated mentoring program, in which an elite jury selected 5 startups out of 30 shortlisted for the mentoring panel. The hackathon had 30,000 entries.
Winners of the Amazon Entrepreneurship Challenge Awards and special mentions will receive $10,000 in Freshworks points and the opportunity to discuss funding with leading investors in India. The award is also divided into runner-up, runner-up and “Amazon Smbhav (Startup Challenge) 2022”, with the winners receiving cash prizes of Rs 1 million, Rs 1.5 million and Rs 4 million respectively.
